HEAR is the official Ulster University document which provides a record of achievements, both academic and non-academic, gained while studying at Ulster.

It is an electronic document available to students on full-time undergraduate honours degree courses, or integrated Master’s degrees (excluding MBBS), on the Belfast, Coleraine, or Magee campuses.

    Why get engaged?

You will begin developing your HEAR from the time you arrive at the University. It will provide you with the opportunity to make the most of your time at Ulster by monitoring and building up evidence to enhance your employability. At the end of your studies it allows you to present a wide range of your achievements to employers and postgraduate tutors.

What will be in my HEAR?

The HEAR will include a transcript of results obtained and final qualification. It will also include additional recognised activities and roles undertaken while a student. See list below of HEAR Recognised Activities.

    Who will see my HEAR?

Your HEAR can be shared with third parties, including employers.
