Elsewhere on Ulster
The Confucius Institute at the Ulster University (CIUU) was established in 2011 to develop academic, cultural, economic and social ties between Northern Ireland and China.
Since then it has set up a network of Confucius Classrooms in schools across Northern Ireland teaching Mandarin Chinese and culture. The connection between Ulster and Chinese universities has deepened cooperation in the exchange of teachers and students, establishing research and development platforms, and sharing teaching ideas and other resources.
Such cooperation continues to promote innovation in talent cultivation, scientific research, business connections and cultural heritage.
