For 2026/27 The Ulster Graduate Award will be available to Year 1 & 2 undergraduate students and new Postgraduate students. Current final year will continue with the Ulster EDGE Award.
The Ulster Graduate Award is designed to help you develop the skills you need and get the recognition you deserve. Ranging from volunteering to work experience, sustainability initiatives, additional training and UUSU roles, you can secure recognition for a wide range of experiences.

Students as Leaders is a leadership development programme for current Ulster University students from every course and stage of study. You don’t need previous leadership experience, just an interest in developing your potential. This prestigious programme equips you with practical leadership skills to make a real impact.

This is our annual celebration and promotion of the many diverse and exciting international opportunities available to you whether studying, working or volunteering abroad during your time at Ulster.
Throughout the week there will be face-to-face fairs, Chinese cultural tasters, global quizzes, and other global-themed events across all 3 campuses. You’ll have the chance to find out about the support and funding available for these international opportunities and learn more about developing your language skills on campus.
As well as advice and guidance provided by the Global Opportunities and the Employability & Graduate Futures teams, external providers will be on campus to talk to you all about their opportunities.
