The Belfast campus has limited car parking provision across two locations.
Curtis Street Carpark
- 16 Permit Access only accessible spaces

- 350 Permit Access only car parking spaces with 18 designated as accessible spaces
- 7 spaces equipped with Electric Vehicle charging points
- 10 motorcycle spaces
- 193 secure bicycle storage racks

UU Parking Permits / Needs Based Assessment
Access to the car parking provision at the Belfast campus is through a Needs Based Assessment application process.
This process ensures the car park is available to those who need it most :
- Staff and students who are blue badge holders
- Have health conditions and mobility difficulties
Off Peak Access
Staff who are members of the UU parking permit scheme can access the Frederick St Car Park (from Sept 2022) at off-peak times by scanning your staff ID card on entry.
Off-peak opening times:
- Monday to Thursday: from 7.00pm to 10.00pm
- Friday: from 5.00pm to 10.00pm
- Saturday and Sunday: all day
Block BA Car park, Curtis St can be accessed only by UU Blue badge permit holders at peak and off-peak times by scanning your staff ID card on entry .

If you are a member of University staff and are hosting an Ulster University event, please contact carparks@ulster.ac.uk via email and to request the booking of car parking spaces for invitees.
Questions about UU Car Parks
All staff and student questions about Ulster University car parks can be addressed by visiting one of the Belfast Campus Reception Desks (The Birley Building / BA & BC), where a member of the Estates Services team will be able to advise and / or signpost to the correct answers.
