Metro Uni-Link U2 Bus service
New Semester U1/U2 Services
Timetable planning is currently being finalised, to start August/September 2022 (final timetable details will be available at a later date):
Bus link between Yorkgate to Belfast campus to QUB - U1 service.
U1 Service will operate between Yorkgate Train Station, UU Belfast and QUB. Every 10 minutes (peak time) & every 15 minutes (off -peak).
Please Note: Although the last pick-up time at York Street is a 18:16 , staff and students can use Metro bus services (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, & 2f) to connect to Yorkgate Station or City Hall. These services run until 23:00.
Staff and students are encouraged to use the Translink Journey Planning App for real time information on bus connections; type 'Ulster University York Street' on the Translink Journey Planning App as your location and add your destination to find the most suitable public transport options.
Bus link between Jordanstown, Belfast campus and QUB – U2 service
U2 Service will operate between UU Jordanstown, UU Belfast and QUB. Every 20 minutes (peak time) & every 30 minutes (off -peak).

Europa Bus Station
Europa Bus Station is a 15-20 minute walk or a 7-minute cycle ride to campus and is located next to Great victoria Street Train Station.
Park and Ride Service at Ulster University Sports Village
Ulster University is providing a park and ride service at Jordanstown to facilitate ease of access to the Uni Link U2 bus service or train services at Jordanstown Rail Halt. Parking will be free for those using the onward bus and train services.
For other parking, normal charges apply. The applications for a Park & Ride permit are now open Please use the link to access the Jordanstown Park & Ride application form.
This option is ideal for Belfast based staff and students who live in the vicinity of the Jordanstown campus to travel sustainably to Belfast and will provide an alternative if the car parks at rail halts along the Larne / Belfast line are at capacity.
*This service is currently in place until August 2023 only. Any further updates will be provided closer to the time.
