About the Moot Court
Virtually explore our fantastic space - Moot Court. Belonging to the School of Law, the Moot court classroom is a simulated courtroom setting where law students practice arguing legal cases as they would in real-world appellate courts.
The room typically resembles a courtroom, with a judge's bench, a lectern for attorneys, and seating for other participants. Students act as attorneys, presenting oral arguments and responding to judges' questions.
The judges, usually professors, practicing lawyers, or other students, evaluate their performance based on legal reasoning, advocacy skills, and knowledge of the law.
Moot court sessions help students develop critical thinking, public speaking, and a deep understanding of legal procedures and precedents.
