Diagnostic Radiography practical room (X-Ray suite)

Our Diagnostic Radiography Suite is a cutting-edge facility designed to provide students with hands-on training in a realistic clinical environment. Equipped with modern digital radiography systems (DR&CR), including Carestream X-ray machines, diagnostic workstations, and anatomically accurate models, the suite enables students to practice imaging techniques, radiation safety, and patient care.

Under the guidance of experienced staff, students gain practical skills in positioning using mannequins, image evaluation, and equipment operation while developing a strong foundation in anatomy and pathology. The suite also offers simulation through links to integral computer systems: RIS and PACs used in NHS trusts throughout NI
