A Review of the Policy Area Affecting Integration of the Education System in Northern Ireland (2015)
This scoping exercise, carried out on behalf of the Integrated Education Fund (IEF), provides an analysis of current education policy and practice in Northern Ireland across four key areas. The review involves an analysis of legislation, policy and practices within the existing system of education where change might lead to better integration of the education system as a whole.

Integrated Education: A Review of the Evidence (2012)
This review, again commissioned by the IEF, involved a critical analysis of policy development and research evidence into the educational, societal and economic benefits of integrated education in Northern Ireland between 1999 and 2012.

Integrated Education in Northern Ireland (1999-2002)
Between 1999 and 2001 the Nuffield Foundation supported a research project into aspects of integrated education in Northern Ireland. The project was coordinated by Alan Smith, University of Ulster, and Tony Gallagher, Queen’s University Belfast. The final report was presented to the Nuffield Foundation in 2002.
