Ulster Presents has partnered with Out To Lunch Festival to host talks on the Belfast Campus led by Rough Trade Books Creative Editor and Manchester-based Office of Craig designer - Craig Oldham
On 23rd January, Craig will be in conversation with banner-maker and designer Ed Hall about his commitment to supporting protest movements and the importance of banners and their design in communicating campaign messages. You can find out more about this event and buy tickets here.
This event is part of the National Gallery's Bi-centennial programme of work with Jeremy Deller.
Also, on 24th January, Craig will give a talk about his acclaimed new book In Loving Memory of Work. More information and tickets available here.
Craig is one of the UK's most exciting designers working today and his design practice 'Office of Craig' continues to lead on innovative strategies in design. He continues to be a passionate expert on the role of design in protest movements and in particular research around the coal miner strikes in the 1980s.
This will be the first time Craig has talked about his work and research area in Ireland.
Craig will be available to sign copies of his book at the event with some available for purchase by No Alibis bookstore on the night.
Both events will take place in Conor Lecture Theatre in Block BA.
