How it works

Part of your gross salary will be used to finance the cost of the vehicle.
This may lead to potential tax and National Insurance savings. *
*Current legislation on the National Living Wage and the rules of the Tusker scheme require an annual salary of circa £35,000 to order a vehicle under the scheme.

Can I join the scheme if I live in the Republic of Ireland?
This scheme is only available to people with a UK home address.

Am I insured by Tusker to drive in the Republic of Ireland and outside the UK?
An employee is able to drive in the Republic of Ireland unrestricted although you will need to obtain a VE103B certificate from Tusker which is £10 and valid for 12 months.

Can I keep the no claims discount on my car insurance?
You would need to check this with your insurance company.

Are there local arrangements for servicing and repair i.e. does Tusker have servicing and repair arrangements in Northern Ireland?
Yes, local servicing and repair is available.

How will speeding and other traffic violations in Northern Ireland be handled?
Any penalty notices will be sent to Tusker as the registered keeper of the vehicle and Tusker will in turn issue these notices to individuals.
