Next Meeting

Details of the November meeting for all campuses will be available soon.

The ASD Social Group is a social outlet facilitated by AccessAbility Advisers within the Student Wellbeing team for students with ASD. The group was set up in response to a request from students for an opportunity to meet with other likeminded students in a casual but structured social setting.

Although the AccessAbility team facilitate the sessions, they very much rely on the participation and guidance from the members- this is a group for students, run by students!

You don’t have to attend every session, all students are invited to attend as and when they wish. Information on the most recent groups will be sent via email but can also be found on the events section of the student guide or on the Student Wellbeing Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages.

Previous sessions have been guided by a theme such as Career Planning, Stress Management and Managing Relationships. Others are more informal and focus around students sharing experiences, hobbies or even their pets!

At present, the sessions are running virtually via Zoom - this is at the request of the members. There may be on campus events scheduled from time to time.

If you are interested in joining one of the ASD Social Group's sessions, contact Student Wellbeing on 028 9536 7000 or studentwellbeing@ulster.ac.uk for more information.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
