What are the Global Undergraduate Awards?
The Global Undergraduate Awards is the world’s top academic awards programme that celebrates the work of undergraduate students around the world. This is a fantastic opportunity to have your coursework recognised by an international panel of expert judges working in some of the world’s top academic institutions.
Last year, we were proud to have a Global Winner from UU — Richard Croft, who won the Nursing, Midwifery & Allied Healthcare category — along with Christianah Adegbamiye, who was Highly Commended in the same category!

The prize
- Students who place in the top 10% of their category are recognised as Highly Commended Entrants and will have their work published online in The Undergraduate Library and encouraged to attend the Summit to Present at the Summit Poster Session
- Students with the best paper in each of the 25 categories is awarded the Thomas Clarkson Gold Medal and an all-expenses-paid trip to attend the GUA Global Summit in Dublin – an exciting three-day event featuring networking mixers, poster sessions, panel discussions, keynote speakers and more.

How do I submit?
Submitting your work is simple, quick and free!
- Check if you're eligible to submit. You must be an undergraduate student in your final or penultimate year now, or have graduated in the last year. Coursework entered must have received an A grade, 2.1 (UK), or equivalent.
- Choose your category.
- Prepare your entry using the GUA Guide.
- Register and submit up to 3 entries!
Submission deadline
Deadline for submission is the 7 June 2025.
