Overnight oats are oats which have been left to soak overnight in milk or water, rather than being cooked in the morning.

This makes it a quick and easy breakfast that you can make ahead of time and just grab-and-go in the morning.

Oats are also full of fibre, which will keep you full until lunchtime.

Adjust with whatever yummy toppings you have on hand, from fruit and seeds to yoghurt and cinnamon!

Method

  1. Combine oats, water/milk, sweetener and peanut butter in a mason jar or bowl.
  2. Stir or shake to combine.
  3. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  4. In the morning, add your toppings if using and stir, adding more liquid if required.
