Retrieve your University Email Address and Initial Password

Select this option to retrieve your University email address and initial password, and your Athens details (returning students only).

Student ID (B-code e.g. B00123456) and PIN required.

Obtain your University Email Address and Initial Password

Change your password using Self Service Password Reset

Select this option to change your password using Self Service Password Reset.

Use this option only if you have forgotten your network password or require a new one.  Your Multi-Factor Authentication verification methods must be up-to-date.

When changing your password, you must choose a password with a minimum of 12 characters: that includes 3 out of the four categories below.

  1. Upper Case
  2. Lower Case
  3. Digit
  4. Special Character

Please note that if you change your password in Office 365 via SSPR, you should wait for a maximum of 30 minutes for your new password to fully replicate to all University services (e.g. Student Workstation login).

Change your password using Self Service Password Reset

Update your Multi-Factor Authentication methods

Select this option to update your authentication details within your Microsoft account.

This can be used to add a new phone number, or to configure the Microsoft Authentication App on a new phone, before you lose access to the old one.

In order for you to retain access to your account and use of the Self Service password reset facility it is important that you keep your Authentication details up to date.
