Semester 1 & 2
Throughout semesters 1& 2, the International Student Advisory Service host a weekly catch-up for international students called 'Coffee & Chat' which takes place on each campus.
All international students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join us to participate in a relaxed and informal get together to socialise and support one another. There will also be a range of guest speakers and organised activities throughout the year.
There is no need to register in advance; unless we're running a special activity, just turn up at the time and location listed below for your campus and we'll bring the coffee, tea and snacks. Come join in some great conversation with our friends from around the world!
Summer Semester
Please note: Coffee & Chat sessions do not run during the summer holiday period, however, we will be running a number of events in the summer across all campuses.
We'll be visiting:
- Florence Court and Marble Arch Caves
- The Giants Causeway and Portrush
Please select your campus below for more information and details of how to book. Please note that spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please make sure that you select the campus that you wish to depart from. Bookings are non-refundable.
In order to provide a welcoming environment for our students, we will not allow unauthorised solicitation, recruiting, or marketing during this time.
Student groups or societies who would like to promote their upcoming events, recruit for their group, or help with a weekly catch-up can email the team at isas@ulster.ac.uk.

Summer Events
Belfast Date Location Description 12th June 2024 Florence Court and Marble Arch Caves Travel to beautiful Florence Court, enjoy a tasty packed lunch and picnic on the lawn. Florence Court House is surrounded by lush parkland and thick woodland with Benaughlin mountain rising in the background, in this majestic countryside setting in West Fermanagh. There is something for everyone to enjoy at this extensive and welcoming place.
Then we'll head to the famous Marble Arch Caves. The landscape encompassing the Marble Arch Caves was formed over 340 million years ago. Today this natural environment of caves, rivers, mountains, ancient woodlands, waterfalls and gorges offer an opportunity for visitors to enjoy the incredible range of activities and experiences the Marble Arch Caves have to offer.

- Price includes a private coach tour, a packed lunch and entry to Florence Court and Marble Arch Cave.
- This event is exclusively for international students
- This is a full day trip with collection from the campus at 7.30am and drop off around 6.00pm (finish time subject to change).
