Overview

Mr Ralf Sander, is a Reader in fine art. He is investigating and lecturing a broad range of fine art disciplines. It manifests variously as sculpture, installation, video, collaborative - and site-specific projects. Ralf exhibits worldwide, in internationally acclaimed locations such as Bonner Kunsthalle, Museum of Art Stuttgart, Haus der Kunst Munich, Philadelphia Museum, Nowisibirsk Museum of Art Seoul, MoA, and La Serpara Museum Italy.

He has been artistic supervisor for the World EXPO 2014 in South Korea. He is also the initiator and curator of successful exhibitions and art projects as Aquamediale, Germany and Exterritorial. Ralf Sander has taught at prestigious universities in Poland, Academy of Fine Art, Warsaw, UDK, Berlin and Korea, Seoul National University. He embeds his research interests into his teaching, using his wide range of professional experiences to share them with his students.

He won the first price and realized several highly prestigious art projects in public worldwide, such as: The landmark sculpture for the XXII Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang 2018, an experimental landmark sculpture for the Busan Film Center, South Korea, a sculpture to memorize the quantum physicist John Steward Bell and many projects in public realm internationally.
