Maureen Collins


Overview

Maureen has lectured in marketing, retail, customer service, business enterprise and display and interior design. Her consultancy practice creates and delivers courses and workshops for local businesses, local government (including Belfast City Council and Coleraine Council) and community groups. Her design and styling practice involves creating interiors and display solutions for a broad range of private and commercial clients.

Maureen created the “Wonderful World of Colour” at the Belfast Ideal Room and the “Fantasy Room” display at Dublin Ideal Home as well as “The Craft House” in Greenisland. She was creative director at Jacob Street, a concept design store creating an outlet for local artists and featuring an eclectic mix of vintage and bespoke interior items. With broadcast experience on both local and national television and radio, Maureen also launched and edited a successful local interiors magazine.
