Overview

As an educationalist and researcher, Kingston's expertise spans multiple domains including social pharmacy, public health, health services research, determinants of health, and pharmacy education. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods, utilising techniques such as focus group discussions, in-depth interviews, survey questionnaires, inferential statistics, and evaluation.

His research has primarily centred around understanding risk perceptions and behaviours among patients, the public, healthcare professionals, and healthcare students, particularly in epidemic infections and emergency preparedness. He has also delved into the implications of pharmacist workforce dynamics for scalable and effective pharmaceutical care models.

Additionally, He has made contributions to technology-enhanced learning and education research, examining their impact on pharmacy and healthcare students. Within social pharmacy and public health, Kingston prioritises analysing socio-economic determinants to ensure high-quality outcomes for beneficiaries. His interdisciplinary approach and commitment to advancing knowledge in these areas underscore their dedication to improving healthcare delivery and education.
