Teaching interests

Adrian’s teaching interests lie in the areas of medical geography, GIS technologies, quantitative analysis and student enterprise/employability, which he teaches across all levels on undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Research interests

Adrian has research interests in the application of GIS technologies to examine the relationships between the physical and social environments, human health and health care delivery. He is particularly interested in the mapping and spatial analysis of environmental risk factors related to aging.

Adrian, a Distinguished Business Fellow of Ulster University, also has a keen interest in technology and knowledge transfer.
