Shurui is a Chinese national and moved to Ulster to begin her studies in January 2018.
Prior to studying for her PhD at Ulster University Shurui studied in the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences with the major of thermal and power engineering.
Shurui’s PhD focused on I-SEM, GB and French electricity market modelling. She completed her studies in July 2021 and is employed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing.

The international perspective of the research team and also the great supervisors.

Learn and set up the electricity market model. Use the model for further electricity market modeling.
