About this opportunity
In Spring 2025, eligible students will be invited to apply for the Ulster University Richard K. Degenhardt Belleek Collectors’ Scholarships.
These scholarships were established by the Founder and Chair, Dr Linda Beard, and are funded through the ongoing personal commitment and efforts of Dr Beard as well as the generosity of many individuals and groups including: Belleek collectors world-wide, international Belleek Chapters, special friends and family of Richard K. Degenhardt, the Belleek Pottery and the Belleek Collectors’ International Society.
Three international scholarship awards are presented annually to either undergraduate or postgraduate students of the University engaged in study in the fields of Ceramics or Irish/Celtic Studies. Irish/Celtic Studies is a wide category that includes students of music, literature, history, geography and media studies if the focus of their research or study encompasses Irish and Celtic issues.
Selected scholars will receive financial support to undertake further specialist research in their area of expertise. This includes help with travel costs to attend courses and visit exhibitions abroad or simply to assist with living expenses throughout periods of research.
How to Apply
Applications will open in Spring 2025.
