The centre supports consistent, collaborative dialogue through regular workshops and events. A dedicated peer-led reading group offers an intellectual space for researchers at all stages of their careers to engage in sustained, critical and interdisciplinary conversations on ongoing work within the centre.
Through the reading group we hope to achieve better writing outputs; more robust grant applications; identifying and supporting paths to impact; and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
As part of the groups approach, each meeting is assigned to a member of the team on a cyclical basis. The focus of the meeting is determined by that member of the team and will be a written artefact (article draft, case for support, grant application etc.). With a shared commitment to input the rest of the team review the document and provide constructive feedback in the meeting.
