Description
In this project we worked with colleagues from the Centre for Children’s Rights at Queen’s University Belfast and from Save the Children to start thinking about how children’s views on poverty can be captured and how their views could be used to influence social security law and policy. Our role in this project was to provide expertise on social security law, policy and practice, particularly those areas of social security that have an impact on child poverty. We worked with colleagues to develop steps that could be taken to understand how children might define poverty and what they might consider to be the important indicators to be addressed.
