One of the key project aims has been to highlight the many and varied resources pertaining to Ulster-Scots studies located in the archives and libraries of Northern Ireland.  This is an expansive study which examines aspects of Ulster-Scots through language, identity, culture, politics, religion and diaspora studies.

Carrying out onsite visits throughout Northern Ireland, the study revealed the extent of resources available in both public and specialist institutions which can be accessed for learning and research.

Research was carried out to establish what materials were available and how they can be accessed and has as a result revealed the vast repertoire of relevant material available to the general public through consultation with local institutions. Details of this study are provided in report form.
