Biomedical Sciences staff and PhD researchers from NICHE research group travelled to Barcelona in May 2018 to take part to the Vitamin D workshop, one of the the best gatherings of researchers interested in vitamin D.
Ulster did well: Patricia Rodriguez and Takashi Ishii were selected for plenary poster presentations which were presented at a special opening reception. They also each received awards for highest scoring abstracts. There were a total of three awards available and Ulster received two of these.
PhD researcher Kay Dube received a trainee travel award and gave a talk.
