Film and Television Production

The MA Film and Television Production will equip you with technical expertise across various screen production formats – from classic film to cutting-edge virtual production.

You’ll develop industry-specific skills and increase competencies in storytelling, video production and post-production, emerging immersive technologies, and project management. Additionally, you’ll cover the Business of Film and Television providing you with enhanced employability skills alongside an understanding of sustainable career building in the screen industry.

Bringing together Northern Ireland’s top talent in screen production, animation, games, photography and creative design, Ulster University is the driving force behind Northern Ireland’s fast-growing screen industry.

With significant research projects such as the £13m Future Screens Northern Ireland project (funded by AHRC) we are at the forefront of research in new real-time and virtual production in the creative industries, meaning you will have opportunities to engage with industry experts, innovative technologies, and world class facilities.
