What power and influence do you think you have?

Power can be seen as negative when it is used as a coercive mechanism (via a position or role) rather than when it is used positively (via other means) to influence others.

This interactive session will focus on the different types of power that people can have and how to use these appropriately and successfully in order to have influence within an organisation.  It will encourage you to think about the influence that you have!

This workshop is led by Deborah Sloan, Academic Programme Leader and Wo/men's Network Lead, Ulster University.
