Here at the Optometry Clinic we are dedicated to providing excellence in patient eye care, as well as being leaders in clinical education and research.
We have a large vision care facility located in the Department of Optometry and Vision Science on our Coleraine campus.
With eight fully equipped sight testing rooms and an experienced group of professional staff who supervise and work within the clinic. Our high tech equipment and experienced staff allow us to offer a professional service to all our patients.

Our professional staff have been invited to speak around the world, and are regular contributors to vision science journals and textbooks.
Many of our staff are leaders in clinical research involving eye and vision disorders.
Our students
During the teaching semester, patient examinations are performed by final year optometry students working under the direct supervision of our skilled professional staff.

Open to the public
Each year there are approximately 2,000 patient visits to all our clinics.
The Optometry Clinic is open to the public throughout the year and outside the teaching semester we offer eye examinations either with our Clinic Director or another experienced professional member of staff.
