The event, held at Titanic Belfast, brought together key industry experts to focus on the latest challenges and innovations in cybersecurity.
Speakers included Dr Caoimhe Archibald, Minister for the Economy in Northern Ireland, Deryck Mitchelson, Check Point Global CISO, Kieran McCorry, National Technology Officer at Microsoft Ireland, Neil Redmond, Director of Cyber Security at PwC, and Charlotte Wilson, UKI Head of Enterprise.
Joining Terence to tackle a wide range of cyber issues as part of the Security Panel discussion and question-and-answer session were Lorraine Harrison of GRAHAM Construction and Joanne English of NI Cyber.
Referring to the University’s civic responsibility in equipping and empowering young people with the essential skills needed to thrive in their future careers, Terence said:

A key initiative Terence is championing is the introduction of the Check Point Secure Academy at Ulster University. This programme aims to support academic colleagues in integrating cutting-edge cybersecurity training into course content to provide students with a strong foundation in an increasingly critical sector.
