The University also ranked 2nd for value for money and for course content, 3rd for campus and facilities and for personal tutors and 4th for teaching quality.

Ulster has much to celebrate this week, these StudentCrowd Awards are published as the Class of 2024 celebrate their academic success across ceremonies in Belfast, Coleraine and Derry~Londonderry.

The only awards collated entirely from verified student reviews, the StudentCrowd rankings are based on a total of 31,564 reviews submitted by students across the UK in the last two years, covering 11 categories.

Ulster University placed in the top 10 in the following categories:

  • 1st for careers services
  • 1st for job prospects
  • 2nd for value for money
  • 2nd for course content
  • 3rd for campus and facilities
  • 3rd for personal tutors
  • 4th for teaching quality
  • 10th for students’ union
  • 10th for wifi and internet

The StudentCrowd review platform asks students to rate their UK university out of 5 stars, with winning institutions required to have at least 100 reviews in the last two years across the university, course, and accommodation review categories for consideration in the UK league table.

These Awards come just a few weeks after Ulster University was Recognised as first in the U.K. and joint 5th in the world for Outreach Activities in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, which evaluate universities globally for their contributions towards creating a more sustainable world, particularly their efforts to excel across United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Universities are ranked according to how they contribute to the SDGs under four themes: research, teaching, outreach, and stewardship highlighting which universities are excelling in these areas. Overall, Ulster ranks in the top 11% globally.
