Finance Minister Dr Caoimhe Archibald MLA has today visited Ulster University following her appointment to the Northern Ireland Executive.
Hosted by Ulster University Vice Chancellor Professor Paul Bartholomew, the Minister was in Belfast for a tour of Ulster University Belfast and to discuss the work of the University and areas for future collaboration with her Department.
During the visit, the Vice Chancellor took the opportunity to congratulate Dr Archibald on her appointment following the restoration of the Northern Ireland Assembly and Executive in February.
Professor Paul Bartholomew, Vice-Chancellor of Ulster University said:
“We were pleased to welcome Finance Minister Dr Caoimhe Archibald MLA to Ulster University today to give an insight into life at the University and discuss our academic and teaching success. The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss with the Minister our distinct regional mission and ambitions for our campuses in Belfast, Derry-Londonderry and the Minister’s home constituency of Coleraine.”
