A wealth of creative talent will be on display at the University of Ulster’s Magee campus as the annual Design End of Year Show opens this week.
The show, which features work by graduating students from both the BDes Hons Design and Communication and the BSc Hons Multimedia, Computing and Design courses at Magee, offers prospective employers and members of the public an excellent opportunity to spot emerging young talent.
Justin Magee, Senior Lecturer in Product Design and Show Co-ordinator,said: “The End of Year Show showcases a diverse range of innovative work in various design disciplines. In the one exhibition, visitors will see an exciting array of work in animation, graphic design, illustration, interactive design, moving image, product design, photography, advertising, mobile technology and games content. The exhibition is an important event for these young designers, offering them a platform to share their work and promote themselves to a wider audience at the outset of their careers.”
The exhibition runs at the Foyle Arts Building, Magee from Monday 14 to Thursday 17 June, 10am to 4pm daily.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome. Further information is available from the Cultural Development Office on: 028 7137 5658 or n.pearce@ulster.ac.uk
