The third phase of the ‘Class of 2010’ graduations at the University of Ulster ended today with the final two ceremonies at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast.
Students from the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Art, Design and the Built Environment were presented with their awards.
The morning ceremony saw an honorary degree conferred on Sir Hugh Orde, who received the degree of Doctor of Laws (LLD) in recognition of his services to policing, and to Professor Sir Desmond Rea, who received the degree of Doctor of Laws (LLD) in recognition of his services to policing.
The University of Ulster’s graduation ceremonies now move to the Millennium Forum, Londonderry, where students who studied at the University of Ulster’s Magee campus will graduate on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
