The graduation ceremonies for full-time and part-time students at the University of Ulster concluded today as students from the University’s Magee campus received their awards. The faculties are the Ulster Business School, the Faculty of Life and Health Sciences, and the Faculty of Social Sciences.
The final ceremonies were held in the Millennium Forum in Newmarket Street.
At the morning ceremony, Paddy Doherty received the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws (LLD) in recognition of his services to community development.
In the closing ceremony, held in the afternoon, Pat Hume received the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws (LLD) in recognition of her services to community and political development.
The University’s Winter Graduation ceremonies will take place in the week before Christmas 2010.
