SNOW PATROL: Coleraine groundsmen Raymond Smyth and James McKee tackle compacted snow at the campus access

Campus status update: 1000hrs 23 Dec 2010.

All campuses are open, with roads and paths passable with care.  Repairs to a burst pipe at the Minor Hall in Magee are complete, and the main MD entrance has reopened.

Revised LRC opening hours for all campuses are detailed in this bulletin. 

Jordanstown:  campus roads gritted: pavements being gritted: car parks snowed over. Passable with care.  The heating system has been repaired and is functioning normally. 

Coleraine: main entrance gritted and accessible with care; staff are gritting roads and paths. Caution advised. LRC open, Sports Centre open.

Belfast: campus is operating as normal.

Magee:  LRC open, car parks cleared, paths gritted. Caution advised. Sports Centre is open.  The steep Strand Rd access to the main campus is closed for safety reasons. 

Learning Resource Centres: opening hours update:

All LRCs will close at 6pm on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 December to allow LRC staff to get home safely in adverse weather conditions.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause and would remind users that past exam papers, e-journals and e-books may be found on the University Portal from anywhere with an internet connection.
