Staff in FE Colleges teaching Associate Students of Ulster University can join the Library as FE College Teaching Staff Borrowers.
The Library works closely with the Collaborative Partnerships Forum of the University and applications will be shared with the appropriate Subject Partnership Manager to confirm an applicant's status. The application process is completed online and, following verification by a Subject Partnership Manager in Ulster University, a borrower card will be sent out within five days. FE College Teaching Staff Library membership is for 12 months at a time, but can be renewed on an annual basis following confirmation of status by the relevant Subject Partnership Manager.
FE College Teaching Staff borrowers may borrow up to 4 standard loan books and will be able to request books from any of our Campus Libraries. We regret that access to e-journals, databases and other online resources is not available to FE College Teaching Staff borrowers because of strict licensing rules limiting access to current staff and students of the University.
Please note: Belfast campus has an access control system in place and 24hr advance notice is required to enable visitor passes to be prepared. Please contact staff at Belfast library at least one day ahead of your visit and they can request one for you. On arrival, present your library card to staff at the campus reception desk in the foyer and collect your visitor pass.
To apply for Library membership, please complete the Further Education College Teaching Staff application form.
