Dr Jean Daly-Lynn is a Lecturer in Psychology in the School of Health Sciences. She teaches across allied health professional programmes and leads on service user involvement and interprofessional education in Faculty of life and health sciences.
Jean is principal investigator on an interprofessional SLaTE funded project called A Toolkit for Service User Involvement in Teaching and Learning at Ulster University. The goal of the project is to provide resources to support a university wide approach to bringing the lived experience of people into teaching and learning activities.
Jean is a researcher in assistive technology and technology innovation using participatory methods for people with disabilities.
Her research adopts person-centred approaches to design, validate, and evaluate technology to maintain personhood, agency, citizenship, and empower people with a range of disabilities. She has published widely in academic journals, conferences, and book chapters.
