What We Do

  • Operate an integrated system of standards assurance and quality management and enhancement which makes an effective contribution to the achievement of the university's objectives and which underpins the academic planning process.
  • Provide professional development on curriculum design and delivery.
  • Manage curriculum approval (Evaluation, Course Revisions and Revalidation)
  • Manage the Curriculum Management System  (CMS)
  • Review University Ordinances and Regulation in relation to taught programmes of study
  • Maintain the official file for each University approved course and undergraduate Honours subject.
  • Service the University's Academic Standards and Quality Enhancement Committee (ASQEC) and its Programme Regulations sub-committee.
  • Receive submissions of proposals for the establishment of new student  prizes and amendments to the conditions of existing prizes, including their discontinuation.
