Sustainable Global Experience is a carbon-conscious programme which aims to introduce students from all academic backgrounds to sustainability and sustainable business practices.
You will complete Carbon Literacy Training to learn about the science of climate change and sustainability, before having the chance to see it in practice during a 5-night field trip to Brussels. Being carbon conscious, the field trip’s emissions will be offset by 200%!
Carbon Literacy Training
You will complete a mandatory 12-hour Carbon Literacy Training up to 2 weeks before your field trip’s departure. Following this course, you will be encouraged to submit a pledge which will earn you a professional qualification in Carbon Literacy.
You should note that while submission of the pledge is encouraged, completion of the course is mandatory and only those who complete their training can take part in the field trip.
Field trip to Brussels
After your training, you will then grab your passport and join Pagoda Projects on a 5-day exploration of Brussels with your peers to see sustainability in practice! You will have the time to explore the city in between company and organisation visits and will contribute to a group project.
