These are a few important steps to take before arriving at Ulster University:
International students
Contact the international student experience team (ISE Team) with your flight arrival time in advance.
Note: If your flight is delayed or cancelled or you will be arriving late for any other reason, you must update the ISE team.
This is because they will need to schedule a new time for you to complete registration and documents checks and ensure you get to class as soon as possible.
Student visa holders
Your deadline for enrolment and arrival in the UK is stated on your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies). If it is possible that you will be delayed and will miss your deadline you must contact compliance@ulster.ac.uk for advice before you travel to avoid difficulties entering the UK.
Other contacts to notify if you are delayed
- Department and Course Director - who can arrange to provide you with any reading materials and support your studies as quickly as possible on arrival. You can search for staff and departmental contact details on our website.
- Studies advisor - if you are an exchange or study abroad student
- Student accommodation - If you're staying in Ulster university student accommodation, let them know you’ll be arriving late and when you will be arriving. They will be able to prepare your room for your arrival.
