Our research and business collaborations constantly enrich and inform our teaching provision, delivering on innovation and good management and leadership practice.

Our programmes are creative, contemporary and highly regarded, and are designed so that investment in people is realised quickly and consistently.

We are proud of the contribution we make towards educating the managers and leaders of tomorrow and of our strong links with business, in supporting enterprise and innovation both regionally and globally.

The Department of Management Leadership and Marketing is based at our Jordanstown campus and is one of four departments within the Ulster University Business School.

Within Management Leadership and Marketing, our aim is to deliver business relevant research that continues to inform and enhance teaching and is reflected throughout our wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Our courses enable participants - whether new to the world of business or already in managerial positions - to develop and apply their skills and make a meaningful contribution to the development of business in Northern Ireland and further afield.

Impact of experience

We have extensive global reach and regional engagement.  Our graduates occupy senior positions globally and our courses are designed to make a real impact both for business and for personal development.

For example, organisations have attributed savings of over £1 million to the project work undertaken by students as part of their postgraduate study with us.

Our lecturers are professionally qualified and bring significant managerial experience to their academic work.  We combine the best of academic knowledge and a supportive student environment with real world experience and have always placed a premium on building strong partnerships with industry.
