The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) is the most prominent standard setting body in the world. It drives the evolution of accounting. The business world is complex, business interactions (transactions) are evolving at a rapid rate and it has become increasingly difficult to provide standard guidance on how to account for transactions.

In this one-hour session, IASB member Ann Tarca provides a first-hand account of the IASB’s current work programme and her views on contemporary issues facing accounting practitioners and academics.

Tickets for this event are £10, which includes the cost of breakfast.
