We are delighted to share the news that Rosemary Craig was awarded AHSS 'Educator of the Year' at the recent UUSU Learning and Teaching Awards held in the Europa Hotel, Belfast.
The award, which is supported by student nominations, demonstrates Rosemary's commitment and dedication to learning and teaching in the Law School over the years and reflects the high regard that students have for her as an educator.
To quote from some of the nominations:
She is the perfect fit for this award as she has been such a great help to all of her students, and I will always remember my time in her class fondly because of her passion for the modules she teaches. Alex Cromie
I hope that this has demonstrated that Rosemary has consistently went above and beyond for students. I could not speak any higher of her and her dedication to providing the highest quality student experience possible. Rosemary’s dedication to not only students’ learning but also her caring nature in the provision of pastoral support was essential during such a difficult period which was full of uncertainty. Rebecca Allen.
She has given us confidence and excellent advice, and her teaching standards and knowledge of the subject far exceeded our expectations and standards for a second-year undergraduate module. Corey Brown.
Rosemary always tries to think of different ways to help us remember important parts of the learning. She is always engaging and makes the classes interesting. Rachel Thompson
Well done Rosemary!
