Belfast School of Art, in partnership with Carson McDowell, edges ever closer to the creative edge with our opening night of its major annual degree show to the public on 9 June 2023.
This will be the first fully open degree show in five years.
The event will showcase the new and original work of our talented graduating cohort of 2022/23.
Our specialisms include areas such as:
- Animation
- Games Design
- Graphic Design and Illustration
- Interaction Design
- Photography with Video
- Product Design
- Textile Art, Design and Fashion
- Fine Art with its distinct strands in sculpture
- Lens-based media
- Performance art
- Painting
- Printmaking and ceramics
- Foundation Studies in Art and Design
The evening and the week that follows will see all these areas accessible to the public.
On attending, you will be able to view the work in our studio environments and learn more about the details and development of the work from many of the students who will be in on campus and presenting and invigilating their work.
Prize giving and fringe events will also take place through this period (see social media for updates).
The exhibition will give you a rich and unique opportunity to directly experience the very best of emerging creative talent here in Northern Ireland. It is not to be missed!
