Faces of UU is a fun photo and video shoot where you will share your Ulster experience and receive a professional set of digital photos worth £100 for your time!
University is all about doing something different, trying new things and stepping out of your comfort zone!

Why?
We want to showcase the character and diversity of Ulster through the stories and images of real students to inspire others to apply.
By applying, you have the opportunity to take part in a fun photo and video shoot, share your experiences of studying at Ulster and receive a set of professional, digital images worth £100.
Who?
- UG, PG and PhD students from all years
- All ages
- Come as an individual or a group.
- Local and international students
- Members of clubs, societies, any extracurricular activities
- Those living in student accommodation.
- Previously or currently on placement
How?
To apply, tell us about yourself including:
- Your campus, course, and academic year.
- What you love about Ulster, including your thoughts on your course, campus, or any societies you're involved in.
- If you're applying as a group, share the story of your friendship.
- If you're applying as an individual, share your story of how you decided on Ulster and tell us about your journey at Ulster up to this point
- Share any interesting stories from your time at Ulster.
- Include a video testimonial of you or your group discussing the above points.
Remember, the more detailed your submission, the better chance you have of being selected as one of the Faces of UU!

Submissions open 9 September 2024
Applications close:
Belfast: 25 September
Derry~Londonderry: 2 October
Coleraine: 14 October
Photoshoot Dates
Please ensure you are available on these days before submitting.
- Belfast Campus 2 - 4 October
- Derry~Londonderry Campus 9 - 11 October
- Coleraine Campus 21 - 22 October
The schedule will be confirmed one week before your shoot and you will be allocated a 1 hour slot
Kindly confirm your allocated slot or notify us if unavailable, as we maintain a waiting list of students eager to participate in this initiative.
