The North West Migrants Forum is hosting a roundtable in collaboration with Ulster University. This event will be an opportunity to question and discuss the role of our elected representatives, particularly prospective Westminster candidates.
We aim to develop a manifesto for election candidates and an accompanying pledge that will be launched on October 1 in the Long Gallery at Stormont. The pledge will encourage our elected representatives to challenge the hostile environment, be mindful of rhetoric which undermines community cohesion and contributes to anti-immigration sentiment, to mainstream racial equality, and to confront racist intimidation and hate crime.
Refreshments and a lunch will be provided.
Please register your attendance and any dietary requirements.
