- Human Resource Management students on Year 2, of the BSc HRM degree Ulster University
- Nominate one small business from their hometown for the award.
- The nomination forms a part of the assessment on a module on Business Ethics and Sustainability.
- This student-led nomination is a welcome break from self nomination awards.

Inclusion criteria
- Business size: small = 2-49 employees
- Sector: private
- Manager and student met in person to discuss contents.
Exclusion criteria
- businesses based on providing sustainability products/services
