Student sign-inIf you are completing a Year long placement it automatically counts as an Ulster EDGE Award activity. If you are in final year it will show on your EDGE record in Nov/Dec of your final year.
A year long placement falls between Year 2 and final year and results in you achieving the Diploma in Professional Practice.
Refer to your course/placement handbook for information on learning outcomes of the Diploma in Professional Practice.
There is no additional assessment required for the purposes of the Ulster EDGE Award.
Refer to your course/placement handbook for information on the level of commitment involved.
Typically the placement is 10-12 months and is full time.
