Read about Graduate AttributesExplore and capitalise on opportunities to collaborate between built environment and creative disciplines
Through this activity you will explore the exciting collaborative opportunities which exist between built environment related disciplines and the creative industries because it is important that there is a mutual understanding of some of the most common technologies and workflows aligned with each.
The ambition of this activity is to provide you with an overview of processes and technologies involved when taking an architectural model and developing it for the purpose of use within an animation, games-based or virtual production setting.
There will also be an opportunity for student collaboration, with the exploration of ideas around a range of areas which may include (but are not limited to) gamification and potential benefits with respect to public and/or community consultation, space familiarisation or client engagement.
1. Develop knowledge of the software, technology and processes involved when creating animation, virtual production, or games-based outputs
2. Respond to a set task in collaboration with team members and present the output in a professional manner
