Playmakers Series: Stage Manager

Outline of Activity

Stage Manage an original Drama performance as part of our in-house production company, 'Playmakers'. The Stage Manager will coordinate, schedule, design and manage the evolution of the production from the rehearsal room to live performance.

Learning Outcomes

Through this activity students will develop the following skills:

• Gain real world experience in live arts project management
• Develop practical theatre skills and people management skills
• Deliver a creative arts project in a condensed time frame
• Increase confidence and develop capacity for communication

Assessment Details

For EDGE Award accreditation students will be assessed on:
• Live performance
• Stage Manager's portfolio
